Valentines are always super fun to make with bad puns! This was a double page
spread I wrote and drew for OWL Magazine. They added the text themselves but can you
find "You caught my eye", "Bee Mine!" or "Wood you be mine?"
![]() ![]() This was another job for OWL. For this puzzle I came up with and drew with lots of things that started with WWW, like a Weeping Wishing Well. ![]() For the Toronto Star I made this double page spread teaching kids how to make their own scavenger hunts. I do this all the time with friends. ![]() Another Toronto Star piece, it accompanied 2 pieces about the future. ![]() More Owl Valentines, this time the kids were encouraged to mix and match phrases I made up and any of the pictures below. Some phrases included "I don't like Valentine's Day. But I like you, so I made you this crummy card.", "I treasure your friendship like a pirates treasures, um, treasure." "I think you have cooties. NO, WAIT, I meant you have the "cuties" and "You're the bee's knees, the ant's pants, the fly's eyes and the butterfly's moustache". ![]() Another Owl job, I drew a tangled web of Mummy Maze. I was hoping for gorgon hair but maybe I get enough cartoon Medusas in my Princess Planet comics. ![]() A few of my old holiday cards. You can buy them from my cafe press store. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A picture I did for fun of Marvin from the Dungeon comic by Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim. I invented the weapon though. ![]() Something for Owl's 30th birthday party ![]() My picture for the ridiculous horoscopes I wrote for the Toronto Star as Phantasmo Starseer ![]() Back |
